About Me
I'm Gaveen Prabhasara. As anyone in this world, I'm many things.
To start with I'm an IT professional. I'm a System Administrator transforming into a DevOps guy. I work mainly with Linux/Unix systems, also an active FOSS promoter as well as a user. My favourite programming language is Ruby. I take active part in and contribute to FOSS communities such as Fedora, MeeGo, LKRUG, LKLUG, etc.Then I'm a Poet, Writer (unpublished at the moment) and a Blogger. I started writing as a school kid and I still keep wiring, but not nearly as much as I'd like. Perhaps you can also call me as an amateur musician. I sing and I (try to) play a couple of musical instruments; all for my amusement, at least for now. As any good Sri Lankan, I'm also a big Cricket fan.If you want to know anything else, just ask me.
